1. Don’t start ignoring what they are saying
Fighting with your partner can become overwhelming at times. If you don’t feel like talking or dealing with the fight for the moment, it is natural. Make sure you communicate that to your partner and ask for some time to process and calm down. Don’t start ignoring their text message and calls leaving them hanging in the middle. A simple, “I need some time for myself to calm down and talk” is all it takes to settle the who issue for a while.
2. Don’t hold onto the cause of the fight
If you have sorted out the issue then let it go completely. Don’t keep revisiting it whenever any other minor fights or irritants surface.

6. Don’t go without talking to each other for a long time
It is immature if you stop talking to each other. A mature way to resolve a fight would be to talk about the problems. You can take some time to figure a way out, but not talking for weeks or months can damage the relationship and most of the time lead to a breakup. So make sure you resolve the fight at the earliest.
