Laura’s dishwasher had stopped working. But since she was a working lady, she could not wait for the repairman to come. So she decided to leave the key behind. Before leaving for work, she sent a text message: I’ll leave the keys under the mat. After you fix the dishwasher, please leave the bill on the center table and I will send you a check.
She also added a NB at the end that said ” Oh, and don’t worry about my bulldog, Bob. He won’t trouble you. But, whatever happens, Do NOT talk to my parrot. I repeat DO NOT TALK TO MY PARROT!”
So, when the repairman arrives at the house, he looks under the mat and finds the keys to the house.
As he enters he sees the biggest meanest bulldog he ever saw. But then the repairman remembered that the lady said the bulldog would not bother him. And, true to the lady’s words, the bulldog just lay on the carpet, and was least bothered when a stranger had entered the house.
So, the repairman began to do his work and started to see why the dishwasher won’t work. On finding out the problem, he began to fix the issue.
However the parrot made it difficult for the repairman to work as the parrot kept on speaking and teasing the repairman.
The parrot kept on yelling and was also name-calling. It got worse when the parrot began to curse the repairman as well.
The repairman tried to remain calm as he remembered the lady said not to talk with the parrot.
But the parrot would not stop and finnlay the repairman lost his calm and yelled as loud as he could “Shut up, you stupid, ugly bird.”
The moment the repairman said this line, the next moment the parrot said “Get him, Bob!”
