When protecting her young, a dog can be as ferocious as a lion, yet when it comes to taking care of her young, a dog can be as delicate as a sheep! A sweet dog demonstrated her gentleness by giving these adorable two-month-old triplets a tender kiss!
Adorable triplets were soundly dozing off on the couch, completely unaware of everything around them. Just observing them sleep is heartwarming! But, when the dog started to come near them and checked if each was doing okay, it showed that dogs also have a maternal instinct.
It gave each baby a slow, gentle nudge before planting a kiss on them. She appeared to be extra cautious to avoid hurting them. She seemed aware of their frailty. She acted as a nanny making sure that no one disturbs these teeny-weeny bundles of joy.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, dogs “influence social, emotional, and cognitive development in children, promote an active lifestyle, and provide companionship”. No wonder, a dog is called ‘man’s best friend’ but in this case, the ‘babies’ best companion’.
