A man from Methil, Fife has claimed he’s ‘not into ugly women’, and won’t ‘settle for second best’ – even if that means he’ll stay single for several years.
Machinist Kevin, 42, calls his high standards a ‘lifestyle choice’ and claimed that there are lots of men like him out there.
He’s looking for a woman with long hair – which he prefers styled down rather than up – who is ‘attractive and b_usty’.
‘I’m not saying I’m Brad Pitt but I know I can pull reasonable women,’ he told The Sun.
‘It does make it harder to find someone if you’re only going for the high-end appearance.’
On his TikTok account, Kevin, who largely posts about his dog – a Boerboel called Blade – has been single on and off for the past three years, but has been in a long-term relationship before.
In 2022, the machinist had dated someone he met through the social media platform, but the spark was soon gone.
While Kevin admits that the competition for good looking women is rife, he says he’s not able to ‘settle for second best’.
The dog enthusiast explained that he can’t meet women through normal means, like grabbing a drink at the pub or a bar, as he hasn’t drunk alcohol for years.
To make matters more complicated, he is even less impressed with the dating apps.
The influencer claims that a lot of potential matches don’t reply, and ones that message him will not be as good looking as he wants them to be.
Despite the struggle, Kevin says he doesn’t want to lower his standards.
The TikToker posts his content on @boerboelblade2, where he has more than 25,000 followers and has racked up some 269,500 likes.
In one five-minute clip – which has more than 10,900 views – discussing his ‘icks’, Kevin admitted he doesn’t like women who are ‘too vocal’ in the bedroom and those who ‘only reply’ to his messages, among other qualms.
One of these included women with appearances which aren’t up to par with his standards.
Needless to say, many commenters were not impressed with Kevin’s list.
How about you? What do you think about Kevin?
