Viewers were astonished when they discovered a cunning canine hiding somewhere within a video uploaded to TikTok.
TikTok user Sherif El Sahly (@sherifelsahly) tweeted the optical illusion, which has since gone viral.
At first glance, you are greeted with an apparently normal kitchen, complete with all of the standard gadgets.
Two rugs and a silver pedal-bin appear to be the only objects located on top of the tiled floor kitchen in the middle of the picture.
But somewhere within, a dog hides in plain sight.
The play explains that “only 4% of people can find the hidden dog in this kitchen” and quickly puts viewers to the test.
Sherif admits it took him five minutes to find the dog and challenges viewers to see if they can do it quicker.
It’s likely that the dog will be on the floor, rather than in the sink or on top of a kitchen counter.
As a result, viewers will expect to see it on top of the tiled floor or on one of the rugs.
One user said it took them “a couple of minutes”, while another said it “took me 20 seconds to find it”.
However, more eagle eyed viewers were quick off the mark and managed it in under ten seconds.
One person commented: “3-4 seconds”.
A second said: “I found it immediately. less than 3 seconds”.
