People are ‘terrified’ after a man drops a GoPro under a cruise ship and discovers what lies beneath.

Many people regard cruises as the ultimate holiday luxury: while visiting magnificent vacation destinations, you may eat and drink whenever you want and participate in a variety of activities on board.

People are sharing horror stories on social media about what lies beyond the surface of cruise ships, highlighting their shortcomings.

However, this is not the only aspect of cruise ships that has made people uneasy.

Recently, a TikTok video went popular after depicting the terrifying truth of what a cruise liner looks like at night.

The video’s caption reads: “Cruises are great until you realize how dark the ocean gets at night.”

The footage has terrified many, with one person writing: “Nope, I have a strange thing about bodies of water at night! That would really freak me out.”

Another perplexed observer inquires, “Why can’t you see the stars??”

“You cannot pay me enough to go on a cruise,” shares a third.

Somebody else vows: “And that’s why… I WILL NEVER.”

The TikToker who created the viral video explains: “Unless you’ve been on a cruise ship, you won’t comprehend how black it gets at night.

“And then they say, ‘All you’re doing is showing the swimming pool’, it’s kind of because there’s nothing to see if you look overboard at night because it’s absolutely pitch black.”

Now there’s a new horrifying cruise ship video circulating the internet.

Odysseas Froilan, a Greek photographer, scared off viewers by uploading GoPro footage of what it’s like under a cruise ship.

He lowered his action camera somewhere in the ocean, but it is unclear where.

It has quickly elicited many surprised reactions, with one person commenting: “The way I went from kicking my feet in the air at the cute fishies and thinking ‘Maybe the ocean isn’t so scary after all’ in the day footage to blankly staring, terrified, at the night footage, further confirming my intense fear of the ocean.”

Another agrees, saying, “This was far more interesting than I expected. “Seeing a shark emerge from the darkness like that is primally terrifying.”
