Her most recent appearance at the 2024 CMA Awards was well-received by multitudes. But it appears that some people detected something that others may have overlooked. They have now posted their suspicions online.

Carrie Underwood surprised fans at the 2024 Country Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee, this week. She collaborated with country music superstar Cody Johnson, singing “I’m Gonna Love You” together.
The singer entered the stage wearing a leather vest with white fringe and a lace dress. Her hair was in her characteristic blond, free waves. As usual, everybody hailed her impressive performance. However, some were more concerned with her physical looks. One person said in a comment, “She needs to let some air out of her Lips,” another person added, “Love her voice and music, but what the heck did she do to her lips.”
Others seemed to only focus on her looks, with one person saying, “Okay, she’s beautiful. Why did she have to do the botox. I just don’t get it. Personally, I think it ruined her. She was fine, just the way she was.”
One user chimed in with a question, “Is it just me, or is Carrie showing a little pregnancy bump?” while another simply wrote two words echoing the same question, “Baby bump?”
But, happily, many others just raved about the performance of “I’m Gonna Love You” and how much they enjoyed it.
The song serves as the lead single from Johnson’s deluxe album, which was released in November. The music video shows sweeping vistas and horses. The singers put their best into the performance.
Johnson has previously stated that he hoped Underwood would duet with him on the single, saying, “It’s like Carrie Underwood or nobody.” He honestly believed that her voice would be an excellent complement to his. He went on: “We’re just staring at each other, kind of going off each other.”
Johnson received five nominations at this year’s CMA Awards. He won the Album of the Year Award for “Leather.” His songs “Dirt Cheap” and “The Painter” were nominated for Song of the Year, as well as Video of the Year.

Johnson also was nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year. This marked his third nomination in a row. He received the award in 2022 for his song “Til You Can’t.”
Carrie Underwood is also a CMA Award ceremony veteran, having hosted it 12 years in a row and earning seven awards in her career!
