But not in this story.
A BRIDE took revenge on her cheating fiancé by reading out the saucy messages he sent his lover instead of her vows.
The woman claims she exposed her cheating fiancé for the love rat he really is in front of all their friends and family.
She discovered all the details of her partner’s affair the night before she was due to marry him, and decided to get her own back in a creative way.
The bride – who uses the pseudonym Casey – decided to take drastic measures to humiliate her cheating fiancé .
Although this wedding also had to be a celebration of love, it turned out something completely different. The night before the couple would get married the bride-to-be found out shocking facts about her future husband that changed everything.
While she was drinking cocktails with her bridesmaids, she received a few unexpected messages on her cell.
The woman who was texting sent screenshots proving the groom was having an affair with her.
The screenshots contained the following message:
‘I wouldn’t marry him. Will you?’
And she claims there weren’t simply one or two messages but “loads of them, including selfies of the pair.”
To make matters worse, the bride says the other woman “was the complete opposite of” the fair-skinned, blonde bride with “dark hair and olive skin”.
Unsurprisingly, the bride recalls how she “burst into shamed and broken tears” while her bridesmaids rallied around her, “threatening all kinds of violence against him”.
But although her closest friends “insisted [she] call him immediately and call the wedding off”, the thwarted bride decided to sleep on the matter… and then came up with the most genius plan to get her own back.
After failing to “sleep a wink”, she told her friends that she was “going to ‘out’ him in front our of friends and family.”
Although the bride’s friends told her she shouldn’t go to the wedding, she did not listen to them. And the next day did something no one would have expected.
Instead of reading her wedding vow at the altar, she said to everyone:
“There will be no wedding today. It seems Alex is not who I thought he was.”
Everybody in the church was shocked.
Then she took out her phone and started reading the messages out loud. As obviously, the groom couldn’t stand this humiliation he walked out of the church along with the best man.
After he left, she said to their guests that instead of a wedding reception there would be one hell of a party to celebrate that truth had triumphed over lies and deception.
