1) He is spending more time with his friends and less time with you
If he no longer wants to spend any time with you, then chances are pretty good that he’s looking for an excuse to end his relationship with you. When he still spends time with his friends, it might suggest that he’s just using them as an excuse for not wanting to spend more time with you.
