5 things you should avoid overdoing for you man

5 things you should avoid overdoing for you man
1. Quit trying to solve all his problems

Whether he has financial woes or workplace issues, don’t try to rescue him from all his troubles. While listening, guiding, and being a helping hand are all okay to some extent, going all out and extending your hand can make your man indecisive and helpless to take on responsibility in the future.

2. Avoid being a shoulder for him to cry at will

No men fall in love or respect women who only feel sorry for them and become a shoulder for them to cry on. The fact that your relationship is deep and fulfilling only because you are unconditionally there for him emotionally and spiritually is a misnomer.

The real secret of happiness in a relationship lies in supporting and inspiring your husband to reach greater heights.

3. Trying to be right all the time

Even if you’re right most of the time, the phrase “what did I tell you?” comes off as a derogatory statement. It’s almost like you’re telling your man that you that you are in fact always right. This is a deal breaker in the long run as your man too needs to feel significant and have his say in the relationship.

Asserting this kind of dominance will only destroy and not build your relationship.

4. Sacrificing your personal life and career

If you sacrifice your hobbies, personal pleasures, and your profession to take care of your family, there will be no surprise if your man were to lose interest in you and the relationship at some point. The more varied your life, the more you’re likely to be appreciated. Make sure you don’t overdo any extreme, though.

5. Aim to look nice, but not dramatically so

It’s normal when you want to look nice for the man you love. But a man is not worth investing your time in if he asks you to change how you look dramatically. On the contrary agreeing on something that’s easy and not drastic will only do strengthen your relationship. So don’t deny your man a humble request or two.
