One day a man walks into a bar and goes over to the counter and asks the bartender
“If I show you a trick, will you give me a free drink?”
After a little consideration, the bartender agrees.
So, the man reached into his pocket and pulled out a rat.
Then he reaches into the other pocket and removes a tiny piano.
The rat then stretches, cracks his knuckles, and begins to play the blues.
As the man finishes his drink he says to the bartender,
“If I show you an even better trick, can I get free drinks for the entire evening?”
The bartender thinks no trick can be better than this, so he agrees.
The man reaches for his pocket and removes a bullfrog, who then goes over to the rat and begins to sing to the rat’s music.
As the man was enjoying his free beverages, a stranger comes over and confronts him and offers him $100,000 for his bullfrog.
The man says “Sorry, but the bullfrog is not for sale.”
The stranger man increases the amount to $250,000.
The man says “Sorry, it’s the same reply. The bullfrog is not for sale.”
The stranger raises the price to $500,000 cash.
The man finally agrees to sell the bullfrog.
The man hands the bullfrog and takes the money from the stranger.
As the stranger leaves, the bartender says “Are you insane? That bullfrog could be worth millions and you sold it for $500,000.”
The man says “Oh, don’t worry. The bullfrog was not really that special. You see, the rat is a ventriloquist.”
