As a straight-laced, no nonsense police officer, Deputy Tony Scherb served with distinction for 29 years with the El Paso County police force in Colorado Springs, CO, and loved every minute of the job.
That’s why, on his last day at work before his retirement, he made a decision to take a victory lap for the ages.
According to the video, Deputy Scherb is in an elevator where his foot begins to tap as a “schools out for the summer” mentality completely overwhelms him.
It’s clear Deputy Scherb’s co-workers couldn’t be happier for him as they join in on the fun, dancing their way to the first floor until his soon-to-be former supervisor steps in the elevator… whoops!
Okay, it’s pretty obvious this video is staged, but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s fun to see these officers cut loose a bit!
