A wife texted her husband:
“Honey, don’t forget to buy some bread on your way home… and your girlfriend Valerie says hi.”
He replied,
“Who is Valerie?”
The wife smiled and texted back,
“Nobody. I just wanted to make sure you actually read my message.”
A moment later, he replied,
“That’s strange… I’m with Valerie right now. I thought you saw us.”
The wife panicked.
“WHAT?! Where are you?”
“Near the bakery,” he answered.
“Stay there! I’m coming right now!”
Five minutes later, she texted,
“I’m at the bakery. Where are you?”
He replied,
“I’m still at work.”
“Now that you’re already at the bakery… don’t forget to buy the bread!”
