If you have ever been a housewife or are one now, do you feel unappreciated at times? This story is for you!
A man came home from work to find his three children outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with lunch boxes thrown next to them and the whole yard full of papers.
His wife’s car door was open, as well as the front door to the house, and there was no sign of the family’s dog.
When he entered the house, he discovered an even bigger mess. The lamp was on the floor, and the entrance rug was taped to the wall.
In the living room the TV was turned on at maximum volume on a cartoon channel, and toys and clothes were scattered everywhere.
In the kitchen, the dishes filled the sink, breakfast was spilled on the counter, the refrigerator door was open, the dog’s food was spilled on the floor, broken glass was under the table, and a small pile of sand was scattered by the back door.
He immediately went up to the second floor, trying to make his way through the toys and piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried that something had happened to her.
When he entered the bathroom, he was splashed in the face with water.
When he peeked inside, he found good towels, leftover soap, and more toys on the floor. Rolls of toilet paper that were scattered, and toothpaste that was smeared on the mirror and walls.
When he ran into the bedroom, he found his wife curled up, wearing pajamas and reading a book.
She looked at him, smiled and asked how his day was. He looked at her confused and asked:
“What happened here?!?”.
She smiled at him again and replied, “You know how you come home from work every day and ask me what the hell I do all day?”.
“Yes”, he answered skeptically.
She replied, “Well, I didn’t do it today”.
