At a small-town gas station, a woman couldn’t stop staring at an old cowboy climbing out of the ugliest pickup truck she’d ever seen.
The paint was peeling.
The bumper was held together with wire.
And every time it idled…
It sounded like it was negotiating with death.
She smirked and said loud enough for everyone to hear,
“That thing belongs in a junkyard!”
The old cowboy tipped his hat and smiled.
“Probably does.”
She laughed so hard that people nearby turned to look.
Just then, the local mechanic walked over.
“Morning, sir.”
“Your million-dollar cattle auction starts in five minutes.”
The woman instantly stopped laughing.
The cowboy nodded.
“Good.”
Then he climbed back into the rusty old truck.
Curious, the woman asked,
“If you’re that successful…”
“…why on earth do you drive that?”
The cowboy grinned, started the engine, and said,
“Simple.”
“When people see this truck…”
“…they never ask me to help them move.” 😂🤣
He drove away smiling…
Leaving the shiny luxury SUVs—and their owners—to do all the heavy lifting.
