After a long, passionate night of making love, Ben rolled over and searched his jeans for a lighter to smoke a cigarette. Unable to find one, he asked Penny if she had any leads.
“There might be some matches in the top drawer of the nightstand,” she murmured sleepily.
Ben opened the drawer and found a matchbox resting neatly on top of a framed photograph of a handsome man. Jealous panic instantly set in.
“Is this your husband?” Ben asked nervously.
“No, silly,” Penny giggled, snuggling up closer to him.
“Your boyfriend, then?” he pressed, breaking into a slight sweat.
“Not at all,” she whispered, playfully nibbling his ear.
“Well, who on earth is he?” Ben demanded, completely bewildered.
Penny smiled sweetly and replied:
“That’s me before the operation.”
