Meirivone Rocha Moraes felt lonely and longed for a dance partner. Her mother, wanting to see her daughter happy, took up a needle and thread and created Marcelo, a rag doll.

“It was love at first sight,” she says. Marcelo was the ideal partner for Meirivone: he did not fight with her, did not argue and completely understood her.

Marriage
Meirivone wanted to make her love for Marcelo official and arranged a wedding attended by 250 family members and friends.
The ceremony, which took place in Brazil, was an emotional event despite the rain. “It was a wonderful day for me, very important, very emotional,” Meirivone remembers
