– Step 2: Scrub the Mold
Use a soft brush or an old toothbrush in order to scrub away the mold gently. Focus on tight spots and the folds of the rubber gasket.
– Step 3: Rinse Thoroughly
Wipe down the cleaned areas with a damp cloth in order to remove residue. Run an empty cycle with hot water to flush out any remaining solution.
– Step 4: Dry Completely:
After cleaning, leave the door open to let the drum and gasket dry completely. This prevents future mold growth.
– Step 5: Prevent Mold in the Future:
After every wash, wipe the drum and gasket dry. Keep the door open for ventilation when not in use.
