One day back in April 23, while Rodney Smith Jr. and his friend Terence were sitting out on the porch chilling out, they spotted their 93-year-old neighbor struggling to mow her overgrown lawn
He and his friend pitched in to help her, but that sparked an idea too – Rodney wanted to do more.
He established the Raising Men Lawn Care, an organization whose mission is dedicated to helping neighbors in need, whilst specializing in yard maintenance.
Since then, Rodney’s association has mowed more than 300 lawns, staffed by 20 volunteers!
